Biddenden Tractorfest 2024 Donations
Biddenden Tractorfest is organised by a team of volunteers with the support of the Kent County Agricultural Society (registered charity no: 1001191), to raise money to support the future of agriculture in Kent and to support clubs, amenities and charities within the local area.
We are proud to announce that following our 2024 event, we have been able to support the following local associations, clubs, groups and charities with donations totalling over £20,000. Many of these, and others, were also supported with free or discounted stands at Biddenden Tractorfest 2024, which they were able to use to generate additional funds and awareness. In addition to the above, we are delighted to have sponsored the transport for three local Primary Schools – John Mayne Primary School in Biddenden, Frittenden Primary School and Sandhurst Primary School – to attend this year’s Living Land (a free one-day event held at the Kent Show Ground in May, open to Kent primary school children in years 3 and 4 aiming to educate children in areas of farming, agriculture, the countryside, and healthy eating).

We are delighted to announce that Biddenden Tractorfest 2025 will go ahead on the weekend of 16th & 17th August 2025, returning again to the beautiful fields of Holden Farm, Sissinghurst Road, Biddenden. Tickets will be on sale in early 2025 and applications for exhibits and stalls will open in December 2024 (all previous exhibitors will be contacted).

Biddenden Tractorfest 2024 once again saw amazing support from visitors and exhibitors alike. Held over the weekend of 17th & 18th August 2024, this year over 19,000 visitors were welcomed in the beautiful fields of Holden Farm, Biddenden. It was such a pleasure to see so many returning visitors as well as those who join us for the first time.
Aiming to showcase the very best of a traditional rural show, whilst also providing a fun, family focussed day out in the Kent countryside, Biddenden Tractorfest was delighted to celebrate its 10th show this year.
Tractors, of course, remained the central attraction, with just short of 300 exhibiting this year, alongside displays of steam engines, horticultural machinery, bygones, stationary engines, classic cars and both emergency & military vehicles. Thank you to all of our exhibitors who take the time to bring along and show their vehicles, many of which are very rare and all of which are shown with much pride.
As well as a huge array of vehicles, many of whom provided displays too, over 100 trade stalls and caterers took part in this year’s event as well as entertainment providers, live music and much more.
We were grateful for Kent Design Studio’s support as principle sponsor this year, and would also like to thank ASH Scaffolding, Biddenden Farm Shop, Biddenden Bakehouse/Hearts of Oak B&B, Biddenden Vineyards, Coppards Plant Hire, D Body, Edit Our Day, G1 Fire & Rescue, Hadlow College, John Page Trailers JPF Farms, Mount Lodge Care Farm / Young Farmers’ Club, S J Barnes Ltd and Staplehurst Transits for their support.
We were lucky to have help from volunteers new and longstanding at this year’s event – thank you all. And of course, our amazing committee of volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year and across the whole weekend to put on Biddenden Tractorfest.

The Kent County Agricultural Society once again played a vital role in supporting this year’s event including the Kent County Show and Kent Event Centre teams, Kent County Showground grounds team and KCAS directors, who helped across the weekend and our show manager, Shannon Wells. Many thanks have to go to Julian Barnes, KCAS Chairman, owner of Biddenden Vineyards and committee member, whose vision and proactive approach has ensured the continued success of this event in Biddenden and also provides a meeting venue for us throughout the year.
A big thank you must go to all Biddenden residents for your support of Biddenden Tractorfest whether as a visitor, exhibitor, stall holder or simply being understanding of any disruption over the weekend (which we always try to keep to a minimum!).
Special thanks to Michael Palmer for his kind permission to use his fields at Holden Farm again this year – it really is a much loved site.
Once again, I find it amazing what our team achieve, with the committee putting so many hours of their time in to creating sections which are interesting and varied. To be able to attract so many exhibitors – new and long standing – and to get them all into place perfectly for the weekend is something that really must be commended.
Planning for next year’s event is already well underway, and we’ll be sharing more updates – including the dates – very soon.
