Miniature & Full Size Steam (sponsored by Kent and East Sussex Railway)

You’ll find both full‑size and miniature steam engines at Biddenden Tractorfest, each bringing its distinct coal‑fired scent and often a coal‑dusted driver too. But don’t let their appearance fool you, take a closer look and you’ll see that every engine is immaculately presented, with beautifully polished metalwork and pristine paintwork. Originally employed in various industries including agriculture, factories, and mills, these powerful engines paved the way for modern farming and production methods.

This year’s lineup includes over 40 miniature engines, 6 full‑size engines, and a collection of traditional living wagons, offering a wonderful glimpse into the heritage of steam‑powered life on the road. You’ll also find the impressive steam‑driven saw bench that showcases classic steam craftsmanship in action.

Keep an eye out for the miniature engines as they roam around the site throughout the weekend, adding an extra touch of charm and nostalgia to the event. And listen out for their whistles sounding together during their arena displays, if you’re anywhere near the Tractor Arena, you won’t miss their unmistakable chorus.

We welcome these and any other scaled vehicles (steam, petrol or electric) at Biddenden Tractorfest – coal provided. We are full for 2026, however please go to the EXHIBIT PAGE for Exhibitor entry form for FULL SIZE & MINIATURE STEAM vehicles in the autumn for information about the 2027 event.
